thx Naffman,
Think I'm done, I'm not going to f-up March for the sake of an extra day, and the sun's going to be out anyway, soon!
Good luck all.

arent you all automated, wouldnt it make sense to just turn everything on again once the outage is over?

Getting 503 error, server unavailable when I try to log in
Same :/ at 7:35am (UK time) last attempted. Gutted, I've got to go to work in a bit so that's today's automation spoiled.

Not sure how the site could crash when it was under so little pressure

This should be OK when it comes back up

Personally I now think it might do good to have 24 hour outage or even a full week and then they might be galvanized to up their game.

I do Systems Monitoring and automated alerting for a huge outsourcing company. If we had this many major incidents in a month we'd be losing contracts (and paying penalties) left, right and center.

Makes me wonder how much BF investment there is in redundancy in multiple datacentres\environments, automated failover etc

When compared to other mission-critical sites it is a total shambles and screams of under investment.

I'm guessing there's no ETA on when the exchange might be back up?

Thanks
