I am a frequent critic of bf. But it will be unfair to say they didn't make any progress. Didn't you forget their "regular saturday crashes" which are gone now?

One would expect that a website with that history and experience would have an immediate rollback / restore point for events of this nature?

This looks pretty grim. Was hoping to throw some large orders through the England-Poland markets today. Not looking good right now

BF needs to be down for at least a week for them to permanently fix it, even if it was down for all of today they'd carry on the same tomorrow

I'm no expert but I'd guess if millions of malicious requests are being sent to their servers, telling the good guys from the bad wouldn't be straightforward.

They're behind cloudflare, so it's no a problem I guess.
