Wrong forum pal, never heard of you https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/tr ... -uk.45410/
No need to apologise. I take more notice of what Alex says than what you say.

Don't have so much confidence in your opinion, as everybody's is different. Like knightwire2, I did wonder if he's just taking the piss but the sheer volume of his arguments against covid makes me fairly certain that he's serious. His posts regarding no one on the forum dying and recommending throwing litter in the river suggest he's trying to provoke. True, he knows I'm going to respond but, in my opinion, it's not just me but the forum or anyone who will respond that the provocation is aimed at and I'm not the only one to respond.

yeah of course thats the internet!
It seemed to be confined to the politics thread on here but its on a lot of the threads now. Not knocking the forum still great content but the trolls seem to have multiplied like the gremlins.
Good to see Derek still going strong

It was all a psychology experiment to test the emotional thresholds of different tradersDerek27 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 2:45 pmNo need to apologise. I take more notice of what Alex says than what you say.![]()

FYI, this is what makes it funny for whoever is trolling or bantering, when people can't tell the difference it makes it that much more entertaining and spurs them on.
If you take Alex for example, of course he strongly believes in the things he's saying, that much should be obvious. But he will also throw in a sarcastic post here and there as well, both for entertainment and to deflect some of the negative feedback, and those should be obvious enough as well. It's not a bad thing to have some sense of humor, but having some common sense is usually a more valuable trait

Like this random psychology experiment comment, that's absolute nonsense and it's only bantering. But it does buy more time and more opportunities to push your agendas or whatever.
You can read the words but what you need to read is the underlying tone.

Maybe Alex can answer this, has he ever posted anything about trading/betting?
Or has his existence on the forum just been one long troll, sorry 'psychology experiment'?

I blame Daaniel for starting a thread entitled "Do you ever get lonely?", which enticed Alex to make his first post.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 3:29 pmMaybe Alex can answer this, has he ever posted anything about trading/betting?

When I finish trading I'll take off my trading hat and put on my psychiatrist hat, before visiting the forum.

I believe Phychoff is a former psychiatrist? At £1K an hour you'd think he could afford to spare a bit of time for the forum to make a professional assessment.
