I'd probably be his first subscriber.
How much would an only abuser's page make?Kai wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 5:09 pmThat would certainly be one way to make $1 Million under six hoursTrader Pat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 5:05 pmThere's an idea for you Derek, set up an OnlyFans page! The Silk Run wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 4:54 pm

From reading some of the posts below this reply to me, I think I'm not alone in thinking that Alex is a troll, more to the point he seems to love trolling you. I don't doubt for a second that what Alex says about Covid he believes, for the most part. The rest is designed to pull your strings & considering he decided to jump over into this thread to do it suggests he thoroughly enjoys it too.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 2:45 pmNo need to apologise. I take more notice of what Alex says than what you say.![]()
Well if you hadn't of mentioned it, I certainly never would of thought that(just for reference, that was sarcasm).
Don't have so much confidence in your opinion, as everybody's is different. Like knightwire2, I did wonder if he's just taking the piss but the sheer volume of his arguments against covid makes me fairly certain that he's serious. His posts regarding no one on the forum dying and recommending throwing litter in the river suggest he's trying to provoke. True, he knows I'm going to respond but, in my opinion, it's not just me but the forum or anyone who will respond that the provocation is aimed at and I'm not the only one to respond.
Yes, most probably would respond but the fact that the more you respond the more outrageous & blatent his sarcasm/bait gets, made me think you hadn't noticed... as Kai puts it, the "underlying tone" (i like that) is/was a giveaway for me.
Edit: it's rather upset me that my reply to the first part of your comment has been morphed into your response to me. I never have been able to figure out how to do that properly... my tech hcap showing itself here

I'm all for supporting local businesses Shaun, but there's a fine line between local loyalty, and being ripped off. A personal example is last summer, bought tomato plants in Lidl for 89c each or 4 for €3. Next day I saw the same tomato plants, exact same labels, so same supplier for €2.50 each in Woodies (I don't think they're in UK, it's like an Irish B&Q) That's just ripping people off with that kind of mark up.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 2:10 amIf you look for the cheapest ie lidl aldi etc then you get what you pay for, and an empty high street. We buy fruit and veg from the grocer, bread from the bakery, cleaning stuff from the ironmonger and meat from the butcher. The only stuff we get from the supermarket is what you can't get elsewhere. It seems a little more expensive but you get better stuff that lasts longer so it isn't and local families get a quid or two instead of a corporation. I'm not talking pretentious artisan stuff, just regular places with regular people. Get a social conscience, support local business and eat better and probably cheaper stuff. It's a win win.
We started doing it when we were broke because it was cheaper, and I'd never go back to expensive supermarket crap even though we could afford to now.
I used to always buy from my local butcher until he upped sticks and emigrated to Aus, nearest local butcher now is on my work route but absolutely dodgiest meat ever. Cook the meat that day or you'll be throwing it out in 24 hours, or throwing up for 24 hours if you eat it. I've a newly opened Lidl literally 10 mins walk from my house, naturally I'm going to get my meat there when I can spend a few minutes and pick the best chops or roast or whatever. The €3 ribeyes or €4 fillet steaks are a no-brainer if you know how to cook, fill your freezer!
Regarding the other posts about fruit/veg going off fast, I've noticed it since around Jan 2020 so it's not a pandemic import/export delay thing as it's before that. In my experience it's either soft fruit, or leafy stuff like cabbage/broccoli, basically high water content things. So my theory is that they're being transported or stored at too low a temperature before going on the shelves, the too low temperature expands the water in the cells or even freezes them. Then once they're on the shelves, they come to room temperature, or defrost if slightly frozen, the cells have burst so deterioration starts, and they're on the way out before the doors even open.
Not necessarily, he may just be desperate to share his beliefs, like Christians, vegans, etc. Even if he does enjoy it, what's wrong with that? I don't converse with people expecting them to be miserable talking to me, and I've found some of his posts side-splittingly funny.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 03, 2021 7:49 pmWell if you hadn't of mentioned it, I certainly never would of thought that(just for reference, that was sarcasm).

That's confirmation bias! Two things happened over the last 3 weeks. I've been responding to Alex's posts and 3 weeks have elapsed! Have you considered it might be the latter that fuelled Alex's deterioration?
If nobody responded to his CS, would he have thought, "oh well, nobody's interested, I won't bother telling them that people aren't really dying of Covid-19, there's no need to wear facemasks, the lockdown's totally unnecessary, there's a larger agenda and they're all about to take a vaccine that's laced with a potent chip"?

Sorry to hear that. Yes, I hope your rear wheel is as secure as mine was after I adjusted my gears. I was just pulling away from the lights when it jammed in the frame - let's hope he's travelling a lot faster.
I left lights on to indicate it was a lightning quick shop, its quite bewildering to find out your mode of transport is no longer there but the lock is lying on the ground sliced through.
Left locked just where that lass with *sale or *yale* on a white top is standing.
