This new version solves very important problems.
Nevertheless I'd like to point out one or two minor things:
1) for some strange reason the software refreshes by default to the desktop page every couple of minutes. It can be very annoying while changing a formula in excel to be suddenly presented with the desktop page without any reason at all. There might be a setting somewhere but I haven't found it.
2) Guardian, Excel settings, I don't quite undestand the automatic linking to the BA sheets. I tick the box and nothing happens. I don't quite see what it could do exectly, as I have about 10 sheets and they have to be linked to specific events according to MY rules. What I would see with some favour is if for example one links an event to one sheet, then could highlight all those events that can be linked to that same sheet and get it done in one go... It would be nice, as linking about 50-60 events can be rather tedious.

If I understand this correctly I am also having the same issue. I can be looking at the ladder or market overview or any of the screens then suddenly the main betangel window will pop to the front.

Anything I can do to stop this happening?

well then,
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to experience this problem. Of course in the case one is trading on the ladder or on any place where speed is essencial, this can seriously damage the outcome of the trade. I believe Bet Angel support ought to consider looking into it.

cheers

I've experience that before during trading with the ladder... is a massive pain to say the least. Usually logging out then logging back in again stops it

What version of Internet Explorer do you have installed?

I used to see this but an upgrade to IE8 solved it.
