Love it
They are entertainment in the same way as it would be watching someone who you liked climbing a rock face attached to a bungee rope at the bottom and having a morbid fascination as to how high they could climb before the tension pinged them off and splattered them in the rocks belowgreenmark wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 8:44 pmBit naughty.Dallas wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 6:30 pmKai wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 6:28 pmSpurs getting battered on and off the pitch, this is too savage for meLast one for the road

Love itHow very mischievous Kai. Perhaps you know more about the formation of ESL than me. I don't have a view on who where the instigators. But I've no problem at all with Spurs. They did (pre Jose) epitomise the concept of the EPL as entertainment. And none of the "top" 6 have emerged from this with their reputation undamaged.
No issue whatsoever with Spurs, I actually want them to win the cup since it would mean the world to them and absolutely nothing to Citygreenmark wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 8:44 pmBit naughty.Dallas wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 6:30 pmKai wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 6:28 pmSpurs getting battered on and off the pitch, this is too savage for meLast one for the road

I just find it hilarious how they keep getting caught in the crossfire
Hell, I even respect United, them and Liverpool 2 sides of the same coin really, the industrial rivalry was there long before football. My only objective dislike is towards City and somewhat towards Chelsea, and that's about it

It's like as having spies in the camp if they stayed.
CL odds as expected gone back to more or less where they were. What an over reaction that was and no way IMO would UEFA just had the trophy to PSG at the semi final stage.
If all football trading was as easy as that lol
City still 6/4 which staggers me as in a 100% book you could assess it as 3s City and PSG with Real at 5/2 and Chelsea around 4s

Their price was c19 USD when Ferguson left and had dropped over 20% when they sacked Moyes. So even with the super league news they were still below their 2013 peak. Just shows how far the club has slipped. By 2023 deloittes rich list could see them 7th as they are 4th as it stands but city.. PSG and Liverpool just behind them.

The plot thickens.....

That was certainly a big driving force behind it, the debt since Covid hit last night was shown on Peston last night, Man Utd had the least at around 17m, Liverpool's was unknown but some of the Spanish/Italian teams had well over half a billion so you can see why they were so keen.
It also showed an interesting stat on what would of happened had the big 6 not been in the PL since its introduction, and Everton would have dominated with I think 8 titles in the noughties
Where are those figures from chief?. The stuff i've seen were way below that.
