Depends on how it lines up, today there is lots of jump racing and that is peeing all over the next race. If there is a decent mix on Monday then it may line up better. I.e. one flat race after another.

Nice of them to delay the race at Newton Abbot that will mess up Carlisle nicely.

Amazing how much thinner it is today. Feels like we're back in January!

In running fill rate feels ok, anyone got any stats on pre-race vrs in running volume?

It's much lower on days like this, in running is usually about 20% of the pre off stuff. But you will probably find people will still do in-running even if the pre-off stuff is thinner.

I've actually done OK, about normal, for today so I was a little pessimistic early. However, it usually always hinges on a few races and they went well so without those it would have looked much poorer.

It really does pay to sit some of the thin and jumpy markets out, doesn't it. Of course, I usually come to this conclusion that after wading in and getting slapped. Hoping Monday produces a smooth racing schedule and healthy gaps between quality racing...though that seems like wishful thinking, given my recollections of previous Easter Bank Holidays. Today was scatty, glad it went well for some. :x

I found it terribly slow today, not sure if it was the markets or the great weather or Easter, but I wish I'd not bothered today.

What's Easter usually like for trading?

You have ten cards on Easter Monday so it's bound to throw up a few opportunites but it's bound to be clashing all over the place as well. Six of this half a dozen of the other.
