Another outage  I lost money on the last one and got lucky this time, but it still annoying.

Not everyone trades and wouldn't want bets voided because of an outage, but I wish that they would just void the bets when outage occurs.

They have, I've been going back over prior data to see if I can find a comparison or reason. But some of the lower quality stuff has attracted pretty small total matched volume.
retail side (betting shops) have been very quiet I notice. still lots of rules in place there, discouraging punters I think
That's interesting. Are you aware if they are applying any additional restrictions to foot fall in relation to the proposed government guidelines for the gambling community. Or, is the reduction due to the government Covid-19 guidelines.
Betting shops seem to be limiting customers visits to 15 minutes.

yep, 15 minutes twice a day and seem quite strict about it. No live sports streams in shops, compulsory facemasks (of course) and limits on people in shops. Totally killed the social aspect.

Do people do well out of the Punchestown festival? Noticed Irish racing tends to cost me more rather the profiting. Bit of a side question but for you guys that do well. If you have a positive pre off strategy would you expect to have at least one losing day a week? Or more or less in general?

I'm looking forward to the Festival. It's a higher quality set of races, but you should counter this with the fact that it's Irish.

So lower volumes due to being Irish, but higher volumes due to it being higher quality. So worth it over all.

The UK card is very weak today, you have to wait till 16:35 for the first race above 9 runners. So that will be tricky, therefore I expect Punchestown to make a decent contribution to my trading today.

Thanks for the reply. Should be interesting to see how the day progresses. Some quality racing to watch if nothing else.

The small fields should be quite lively, in both directions.

Seemed to trade well yesterday. Ascot joins the fray today with some quality as well.

When a 7f Nov race at Chelmsford has been the best market to trade. The fill rate has been awful today.

Someone was keen to lay Carolus Magnus there £15000 - £20000? and then it gets beat at 1.01 crazy market.

But on the plus side, we got to see lots of racing in Hong Kong!

That does seriously wind me up.

I've generally done OK at Punchestown but that last race tripped me up.
