Klopp first manager to go next season :o

That's a misread. After ending 30 years of hurt and a 6th European Cup... Like Wenger and Fergie he will dictate his own exit. Expect an improved season anyway with VVD back and a couple of new signings. They won't be so bad that they will be forced to sack him like Leicester did with Ranieri. If they have another bad year then that would be c6th and no trophies. Then and only then he may go at the end of next season but not before.
Klopp proved this season that he has no plan B, after losing VVD and Gomez he still tried to play the same way and hasn't really changed anything tactically. Pretty much the entire first team have fallen off a cliff form wise, there's no leadership without VVD and Henderson, the forwards have forgotten how to put the ball in the net with the exception of Salah.. can't put all that down to injuries.

Klopp himself is at a loss to explain what's gone wrong and that's not a good sign, If they start badly next season I wouldn't be shocked if he fell on his sword and even if he wasn't the first manager out the door it could make for a good trade. Remember also that fans should be back, and they won't be happy watching the same kind of performances they've seen for most of this season. I don't think they'd be singing "You don't know what you're doing" like they did with Hodgson but they won't be happy.

Past glories should only get you so far if you want to be genuine challengers year in and year out. One thing that bugs me about some Liverpool fans is that because we had to wait 30 years to win a league title its somehow worth more, its not Its one title. Was great to finally put that to bed but going forward personally I'd rather have the Champions League which is why this season is even harder to take.

Emma Hayes on BT sport just now after Chelsea get to the women's Champions League final:

"I'm not going to give you a load of crappy platitudes, I've worked my whole life for today, I'm so fu*king proud of those players" :D

Brilliant!

What on earth are the "supporters" at Old Trafford doing? Is this a consequence of the pandemic pressure-cooker lid being lifted? People are going nuts. I have friends in Edinburgh and they've told me the atmosphere has been quite intimidating.

kerching for the police overtime. I bet there's a few phonecalls flying about just now.
I was impressed with the "protesters" lack of footballing skills. Says it all, really. Not against Man U fans, just against morons.

Shocking really. Must be a security nightmare from a Covid perspective.

Can't argue with any of that Pat and that just underlines stuff that I have said before really and you are 100% correct of course as there is a big difference between a trade and taking an outright position

He's gone rogue! :)

Not heard so much mention of "peaceful protests" since USA riots. Sky sympathizing with the pitch invaders while NBCSN going to town on them.

I've heard the Poisson Distribution underestimates the draw, but is it normal to underestimate it to this extent?

Are we witnessing the prelude to a Neville consortium bid for United? Neville is flying close to the edge with his opinions.
