A keeper at that level should not be making those errors however if there is any defence for Gomes it is that Ronaldo gets so much swerve on the ball. It can change direction 2 or 3 times. Gomes is not the first keeper to be caught out by the Ronaldo swerve and probably won't be the last.

Gomes has made a number of serious errors whilst at Spurs.
Seeing Van Der Sar or Cech make errors like that is as rare as hens teeth

Good illustration of how stats can only tell you so much. Man Utd should have drifted quite a bit in the first half but are all over Shalke and have come in a bit.

I stuck some spare cash on over 2.5 goals for the second half. Five figures if it comes in!

Subs on. Fergie is hedging his bets for the weekend, so I will as well.

Liquidty was much better last night so I will up stakes and really go for it tonight. 31% of my stakes were taken in their entirety last night which is well up on a normal match.

Anyone else think Barca are priced too high?

Although they'd probably settle for a draw tonight, I feel they had enough chances that they should have won the cup final in normal time.

That loss will have hurt Barca. I'm thinking they'll come out tonight feeling they have something to prove - we'll see.

Often a derby between two evenly matched rivals is a decent indicator that there will be no goals in the opening phases (an exception to this is the North London derby).

Will watch the opening minutes and take a position from there...

All the best to anyone who trades the game tonight.

- Josh.

Well at least there was a fight at half time to liven things up, other than that it's been a poor match.

Hmm, that wasn't a sending off offence.
