Hi,
Does turning off features using the Features menu have any possible performance improvement, i.e. is less data being received if some features are turned off?
Thanks,
SF.
Performance question
Yes and no, the core data arrives in one place in Bet Angel and is then sent out to the UI. So switching off features doesn't affect data usage or processing. But, depending on your graphic card and general system set up, reducing UI usage, switching off features, may help general performance. If you have no need for certain features then that may help. You can also save the new screen layout so you have the quick option of using a full feature set or a limited one.

I stopped using Guardian because it slows things down, which meant going back to the Betfair style charts on the ladder.
Any idea why 250ms should be faster than 200ms?!
Any other performance tips for making the ladders as fast as possible?
I have a dual-processor high-end 64-bit workstation and a reasonable connection, and only run a browser in addition to BA when trading, so locally I think I'm as efficient as I can be.

Euler, can I ask what refresh rate you use for pre-race trading?

thank you.
is there anyway to test whether the changes might produce a performance improvement, or is it just a subjective feel?
