Hi all,

I'm currently using another piece of software to value bet on BF manually (just as it got my attention first), and I'm wanting to automate, but am not confident / clear about how to do this with BetAngel.

I'm wanting to set up races at the beginning of the day to automatically lay in-running when each horse hits a target price (ie, lay when last traded price is 50).

As I say, I've been doing this manually using another piece of software, but it seems a bit redundant to have to sit by the PC and trigger each race manually when it goes in play, if it's possible to set it up with BA to do it automatically.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much skill / knowledge this would take to do this. I have CFS/ME and am quite prone to "brainfog", so can be slow to learn, but am persistent!

Many thanks,

Jim

Very easy, Bet Angels automation requires no programming skills, everything is selected from menu's
This page of the user guide will start walking you how to create an automation rule and load the days markets then apply the rules file to them
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/our ... _rule.html

For the task you've asked for the rule creation is very easy, you just need a
'Place lay bet rule'
armed at the time you want
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/rule_types.html

On the parameters tab you'd set the stake and where the bet is to be placed etc
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/parameters_2.html

Then you just need the one condition, a 'Fixed odds condition'
to test the price is greater than 50
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/fixed_odds.html

You never said if you wanted to nominate specfic runners each race to lay or lay all/some runners that drift out, but you'd set that on the 'applys' to part at the bottom of the General tab
