Hi All,

I've an automation running called 'Back the Likely winner' which does exactly what it says on the tin in the last knockings of the race. However the 'likely winner' doesn't always go on to win... but does in a lot of instances place but the bet loses obviously.

Is there an automation setting that will not only put a bet on the 'likely winner' but will also back the same selection in the place market?

You can use Stored Values to link markets ie, pass information from one market to another in the same event

There are some examples that are close to what you want already so won't take much editing

thanks for that. Is it possible to get the automation to place two bets (win/place on the same horse) or even dutch across the two markets?

Yes, you can either let the original win market rule place a bet as well as stored the value on the event
or you could change it to a 'Set/Modify Stored value' rule so it only stores the value on the win market (ie, identifies when the runner has traded at the short odds)
