I am just wondering if anyone knows whether my stop loss would hold in a trade if my internet connection dropped suddenly.

Would it also make a difference depending on which connection mode I was using?

A stop loss is client sided, so if you lose your connection you will lose your stop loss. if yiu run Bet Angel on a vps you introduce a bit more redundancy into the equation, but it can still happen there, but is much less likely.
