Amazingly I saw a stat that said De Gea has now conceded the last 36 penalties he's faced, last saving one back in April 2016. Would be a tough call to pull a goalie off and swap out for a penalty shoot out, but given managers plan the takers might have been one to consider. Tough one though for sure and I imagine a fair bit of variance in that sample size.
Yeah he never looked like getting near one. Van Gaal did it at the World Cup when he took Cillessen off and put Krul on and it worked!

I think its only a matter of time before we see a goalie do this in a shoot out. Seemed to put Neymar off at the weekend!

For sure. Big call though, Van Gaal has the personality to front it out as well no matter what happens! Interestingly Dean Henderson on the bench has a great record - 'Henderson has faced 17 penalties at professional level and only nine have been scored', so definitely not outside the realm of possibilities.

Eddie Howe has turned down Celtic.
Must have some other deal in the offing. Must be Premier League. Spurs? The list for Spurs is as long as your arm. For me, I'd have Nuno. The big-hitters out there now are mercenaries. Turn up, win stuff, leave. Wenger and Fergie didn't achieve what they did with that mentality.

I've just greened-up and found a 2 pence nothing to win bet was placed at 1.22, but at least the book's balanced now.

Brazilian Serie A starts tonight, and every match is a guaranteed 0-0 draw. :D

Has a goal ever been scored in a Finnish match? I bet the scorer gets awarded a golden boot every time.

Well done Brentford. Commiserations to Swansea.
There's no parachute effect here. Won it fair and square. Fascinating to see how Toney fits in to the Premier.

I hope it's a cracker, I feel like today has been extra slow waiting for this. Got my beers chilled & snacks sorted.

Cracking chance there for Werner.

So nice to watch a game for pure enjoyment with no thought of trading!
