Would any profitable pre-off manual traders take a look at my trading and help point me in the right direction?
It could help a long-term struggling trader and hopefully you would learn at least one thing from me.
I would send a YT video of me trading a few races from today and tell you everything I'm looking for. Considering I've been struggling to become profitable with these markets (especially the last couple of weeks) to a point that I'm thinking of going down another sport/automation route, I wouldn't have much to lose but obviously I'd rather not post everything publicly.
Please comment or PM if you would be happy to help out
Would anyone review my trading?

That means starting from ground zero, and really getting your head down for 6-12 months before you can make a serious attempt. Automation is NOT a dumbed down easy version of trading. It's just as hard if not harder, and takes just as long if not longer. Seriously look at what skills you have and what skills you'll need, then think about how you'll fill that gap.
But generally why do people start on pre-off UK horses ?!!! Everyone knows it's hardest there is. I guess you all do it just because Peter does it? And would you chuck yourself down a black run just because you'ev seen Franz Klammer do it? Peter does it because Peter can. I suppose it comes down to whether you want to watch horseracing every day or make some money.
There's a generally scratchy mardy tone to my messages lately, I'm giving up the fags (again) so appologies for being so f*%$in' irritated all the time

I wondered what it was, I got that vibe from your posts today... Best of luck chucking that filthy habit, I've tried many times and got to 9 months before caving into it again.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 7:17 pmThat means starting from ground zero, and really getting your head down for 6-12 months before you can make a serious attempt. Post a link to the video on the forum. I'd love to have a thread dedicated to random videos from all traders... I could sit and watch for days. Probably be a good thread to start but we better check it's OK to do that first. I'd contribute with some of my good, bad & ugly trades too. Could be a good laugh and a constructive way of bouncing off of each others critiques.

Absolutely! Funny thing is, I hate it. I can't stand the taste or the smell & I'm very aware of all the health negatives but for some reason unknown to me I keep on bloody doing it. Put a few beers down me and it's like I'm on a suicide mission with themShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 9:19 pmThx. It's a 45yr habit, started when I was 12. But it's an acca I (we!) need to cash out of before it's one too many.

You smoke because you feel one way and you want to feel another way, and you think cigarettes are the only thing that can change that.
Find a breath work practice - can be deep breaths, timed breaths, whatever. Can use an app called breathly. Next time you want to smoke, do some breath work instead - you'll feel different, and you won't want a cigarette.

Are you talking from experience?arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 27, 2021 8:25 amYou smoke because you feel one way and you want to feel another way, and you think cigarettes are the only thing that can change that.

I smoke because I'm addicted to nicotine and need a good dose of it every few minutes.

Someone asks for help with his trading, and the only advice they get is about how to give up smoking !
You’re best off sticking the videos on here, Alex. Probably get more of a response that way.
If it’s just the last couple of weeks that have been a problem, then I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Summer horse racing markets always seem to thin out when there is a major football tournament on. Wimbledon starts next week too which probably won’t help either.
Though after that things should get back to normal. Will be some hectic Saturdays with way too much racing on, though also some decent midweek stuff too with Newmarket, Goodwood and then York until the football season gets going again. Lots of night racing on too, and less other sport for it to clash with.

Serious advice: If you believe Covid-19 is a government conspiracy and the millions of deaths haven't really happened or would have happened anyway, you're bound to really struggle with trading, because trading is all about what's really happening in a market, not what you believe is, should or would like to happen.alexmr2 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 4:37 pmWould any profitable pre-off manual traders take a look at my trading and help point me in the right direction?

I don't know if you were serious about your comments regarding Bill Gates pushing the market against you. I'm not even sure how serious you were about his chip that takes over your brain. But you certainly haven't made it easy for yourself to get help on this forum!
I guess it was a more interesting topic.PapaShango wrote: ↑Sun Jun 27, 2021 9:09 amSomeone asks for help with his trading, and the only advice they get is about how to give up smoking !

No, it wasn't the only advice he got. I pretty much said what you have about sticking the videos up on here on the last page. I'd love to see a thread where we all chuck up some videos of random trades.... I'm just not sure many would be willing to do it.PapaShango wrote: ↑Sun Jun 27, 2021 9:09 amSomeone asks for help with his trading, and the only advice they get is about how to give up smoking !
