Hi guys. Is there a way to place a bet in guardian (not an offset bet) that has a stop if the bet is going against me. For example if I place a lay bet at 10 and the lay price goes in to 8, exit that trade at a loss by placing a back bet to cover the liability. I don't want to green up either as there may be other bets in the market that I want to keep in play. I can only see the offset bets on the parameters tab and I don't want it to place offset as that limits the return if the bet is winning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can use Stored Values for this
There's an example in the form of a Servant which you could use as a starting point and would just require the greening rule changing to a back bet rule

Cheers Dallas, you're an absolute star, don't know what this site would do without you. I'll give it a whirl tomorrow.

Quick question regarding these files. Each of the rules in the file is applied by Servant Context Selection. My rules file is set to trigger on every selection once it meets the set criteria. Do I need to amend your files to every selection or leave these settings as they are?

You'll need to change what they are applied to 'Servant context' options can only be used when it is being used as a Servant

I'd change each of them to apply to Betfair row 1 first then test that with your existing rules and ensure everything is working as expected (on the runner in row 1)
Once you've done that you can change it to apply to 'Every' Selection, or duplicate each rule and applied it to row 2, then row 3 and so on for whatever rows you might want it to trigger on
