Interesting that Euler said that though.
Theoretically, it should be easier to find the drifters as you could only have one steamer per race but a good few drifters?
Also, when a horse drifts it could gain alot morre ticks then a steamer?
Has Euler just given away the key to his success?

Its no great secret TBH, the upside is always better and less risky when trading a drifter/laying..... if the circumstances are right, as opposed to backing a steamer which is a bit more risky, I too prefer to trade drifters/lay first, Im sure most traders prefer this as well, but that said its good to mix it up a bit and like drifters, steamers can be fairly obvious to spot.

I don't keep a proper record so that I could say this figure with high acurracy, but I would say that 70% of my trades start with a lay.
