Nightmare, I know how annoying that is, since I do it all the time! Only when I do it I get so angry I smash something up then use my full bank to trade and end up losing £400 like I did Monday
Anyway Half a gazillion pounds is still ok for a days work

Hi RhysMr2
Don't take this the wrong way, but if I were you I'd cease trading (except maybe with very small stakes) until you get that problem resolved once and for all.
Otherwise, you might as well just save yourself the bother of trading, and just send off a large cheque to the people you're trading against.

My usual fault, going in with big stakes. My discipline is pathetic!
I appreciate everyone has off days. But from what Rhysmr2 has written in other posts, it sounds like a regularly recurring theme. That said, if he's making a decent profit long-term, then I suppose stopping trading would be OTT.
But I still think it would be worth him asking himself 'Why am I sometimes indisciplined, and what can I say to myself now, so that, in the heat of battle when I don't have time to think, I don't even consider doing something stupid like going in play?'

Hi Jeff,
I understand what your saying and unfortunately I do often have bad losing days. I am working on it and trying to identify my issues as I have a few, the hard part is rectifying the underlying issues once identified but it's not easy!
I'm not sure if lots of "successful" trader go through this or not? but I am and I need to sort it out.
I know it probably looks like I lose more then I make from my posts but I don't and I'm just about paying my bills.
for example last month I had lots of bad losing days and 2 weeks in a row I made around £60 for the week
then had 2 weeks making over £500 and ended up about £1200 for the month. A bad month yes but better then not trading at all, last year I would have expected around £4000.
Anyway I'm working on it, I feel like I've not been concentrating enough on improving, I thought it was just a little rough patch from extra financial pressures (new house) and things would sort themselves out but I was wrong, It's taken me a while but I realize I have some issues I have to iron out and I will!
There is a VERY fine line between making and losing in trading, you have to constantly battle and strive to improve, adapt, stay positive, disciplined and not get complacent to stay on the right side of that fine line! my thoughts only of course, to some more naturally skilled traders it may be much easier, they might not have to put as much effort in to stay consistent, I don't know, I can only speak for myself.

rhysmr2 - very interesting and honest post. I suspect a lot of traders will identify with your comments.
If you are still making a profit despite your current issues, I suspect you'll manage to address them too.
Good Luck
