Do Betfair still charge for transactions over 1000 per hour?

About a year ago the cost reduced from 1p to 0.2p for any txns over 5000 in any hour. And they kept the charge being offset by commission. So if you pay £20 in commission over the whole day you can have 10000 free txns spread out through the day without being charged. It's been good for mid sized traders especially because at the same time they removed the unlimited transactions status that bigger players enjoyed. .

Hi,
If allowable transactions are now 5000 an hour, does that mean that when the "Tx" counter at the bottom of the screen turns red at 1000, there is still another 4000 available?
or am I misunderstanding something?
thanx,
stay safe!

The BA TX counter no longer counts the things that BF counts for the Transaction Chargeeatyourgreens wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 9:48 pmHi,

Thank you very much,ShaunWhite for the answerShaunWhite wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 5:14 pmPM doesn't place any bets so there's no transactions to count. PM is a function of BA so not something Betfair deal with at their end.
Is this still the case, a 5000 limit per hour with the fee offset against any commission paid?ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jun 19, 2021 7:57 pmAbout a year ago the cost reduced from 1p to 0.2p for any txns over 5000 in any hour.
