What's the flippin' point of making you try and find fire hydrants, bridges and motorbikes on a Captcha when you already have a secure password and 2FA?

Betdaq and the NHS are the recent culprits.

Because you must do your bit for the future of the Machine dominance! :twisted:

URGENT ADVICE!! Check the screws on your office/executive/swivel chair. You never know when it will give way!

Completely buggered now without my trading chair. Forget your multi-core, multi-threaded processors. A strong, safe and comfortable high-quality chair is what a trader really needs.

The cat's now sitting next to me on the broken chair watching me trade, while I'm sitting on my breakfast table stool. Reminds me of sitting at the dinner table on the high chair. :lol:

Desk too low. I know Peter likes to stand while trading. He posted a picture of his desk with an electronic or hydraulic lifting top. I couldn't do that though, especially on my drinking night. I like to be comfortable. :)

Getting used to sitting 2 feet higher now. Beginning to feel I'm above other traders. :D

How do Argos make any money? I had a look at a couple of office chairs, both not available for delivery. So now I'm off to Amazon.

Don't know why it's taken me 2 days to think about it but after sitting down in the garden sunshine for a cigarette I've now replaced my painfully uncomfortable stool for a garden chair while I await delivery of my new executive chair. :D

I've just got a new laptop with Windows 10 Home and realised it's not as easy to stop updates as with the Pro edition. I set my Wi-Fi to metered connection so it doesn't download unexpectedly and I use:

Code: Select all

@ECHO off

NET STOP wuauserv

SC config wuauserv start= disabled
to switch off the update service and

Code: Select all

@ECHO off

SC config wuauserv start= auto

NET START wuauserv
to switch it back on.

If you got two PCs on a network or two folders with the same name pinned to your quick access, Microsoft doesn't allow you to rename one of them. Tits!
