Good luck in the final!

1 million matched on it already so picked up some very early green, could be a cracking market, with Team Liquidity now in the final there's no excuse for Betfair to make it the biggest ever football market 🤞
Well done, I can't trade these markets as I'm too emotionally involved.

I set off the fall indicator on my apple watch as I sank to the floor on the miss then jumped up and all of us went mental.

Lots of hate on social media for England today, mainly centred on that soft pen. But England were by far the better team on the night. Not just saying that, they were. Denmark were really on the ropes in the latter stages of full and extra time.

After Denmark made several subs the difference in squad quality was evident and they really struggled to cope with the occasion but they have done fantastic without their best player, shame about the controversy but it's part of football!

Knocking out the darlings of EURO in such a manner is for sure going to create a lot of hate, on top of the usual misunderstood "It's Coming Home" stuff, but a lot of people also sympathize with the English and understand it's not coming from a place of arrogance and entitlement. Shame about the circumstances like I said, I more or less agree with Wenger and Mourinho.

As every man and his dog has already said its hard to look beyond France.

The next three in the betting England, Belgium and Italy all fall into the same category for me, their coaches are the weak link.

Spain and Germany will either be very good or very bad. Dark horses for me are Portugal, Ronaldo has a decent supporting cast around him.

Good luck to everyone who has skin in the game either financially or emotionally 👍
Very little of this has aged well :D

I'm a living example of why trading is better than outright betting. No matter how bad I am at analysing the game I can still make money from trading it! :)

Much of the hate you speak of will be hate for England as a country simply expressed through the field of football. The penalty decision was the excuse and not the reason. Good and bad luck goes around. Sol Campbells perfectly good goal in St Ettiene ruled out vs Argentina, Maradonas hand of god goal and Lampards goal in 2010 that was so far over the line it was almost in the stand.

England have been arse raped in world cups and millions of non English people laughed. The it's coming home song may annoy people and I'm glad that it does. We can never appease English haters so fcuk em. That song isn't about entitlement but it's about a dream that something we once had outside of most of our lifetimes may one day return again but in all likelihood it won't.

Over 120m we deserved that win.... Simple. There's a world of difference between a debatable soft pen that was probably still a pen and the blatant robbery of previous tournaments. The haters can simply stuff their pockets with lead weights and jump in the Thames for all I care.

A few more refs should say these things in the face of abuse. Being tough and implacable is useful only so far.

Quite obviously different sports have different rules regarding umpire or referee contact. This is what gets you suspended in Australian sport https://mobile.twitter.com/9newsmelb/st ... 5138192384

In top level leagues and international football I just can’t believe that players can chase after the referee and push them in the chest and otherwise hassle them. Start suspending players or red carding them.

I’m guessing numerous things have been tried or proposed from time to time to stamp out hassling the ref and for whatever reason it just hasn’t been done. As an occasional observer of international football it is the one thing that really stands out (I guess together with staging for free kicks by faking injury but that is a whole other rabbit hole).
