Anything to cover up the hundreds of thousands protesting in London again

Hundreds of thousands?

A Trumpian exaggeration
Now there's a phrase purely of our times. Thank the lord he was and remains over the pond. Hopefully, he'll fizzle out like a rubbish firework.

Don't think's he's going anywhere anytime soon unless he gets banged up or drops dead.

The Republicans are still the party of Trump unless DeSantis can wrestle that title away from him.

There are happy stories on the news Alex, like the missing 11 year old thats been found. Or is that fake news to cover up the protest as well?
Is that really newsworthy? There are millions of kids in the UK so statistically many go missing and are found all the time
Is an 11-year-old girl roaming the streets of London at night alone newsworthy???

It's flipping frightening! You'd feel differently if you had kids.

Indeed. An 11 year old child in London. Thats pretty scary.
I spent time as a 20-something and it is a very vibrant 24/7 environment. Not a place for an 11 year old without support.
No money, power or influence. Physically vulnerable. Streuth, that was a big win.

I've just taken a home covid test and submitted the result online, as they ask you to to. The send me back both, and email and text, telling me what I've just told them, that the test was negative!!!

I'm on jury duty, and in court all day weekdays. Although they take a lot of covid measures, the big worry is if anyone in any jury tests positive I can imagine all juries being sent into self-isolation because we all mix in the lounge, resulting in collapsed cases and a lot of wasted money and hard work.

So was it instructed to take a test? Seems a logical thing to do. Interestingly, Covid could be keeping a lot of folk out of prison if there is positive tests within the jury?.

There is a crack whore that lives down the road from me and she's been harassing my elderly neighbours, she was arrested on a buglery charge last weekend but got bailed. I'm seeing reports that the courts have a huge back log due to covid. I'm not a violent person & certainly don't condone violence against women but it's going to get to the point where she either seriously hurts or psychologically damages one of my elderly neighbours or someone around them gives her a good slap. Both scenarios aren't good... I'd like her to recieve the help she needs and to do that the system needs to function.

I wasn't instructed to take the test but thought it would be a good idea. You can order a free 7-test kit from gov.uk, you don't need any reason.

A word of advice, don't test yourself the morning after you've had a lot to drink. Sticking that swab down the back of my throat almost makes me chuck up.

Well, I'm glad you're not feeling offside! I'd genuinely miss our forum interactions.

What could be more stupid than an Olympic swimmer growing a moustashe? He puts on an aerodynamic cap but no tape to cover his moustashe!

Is a building being hit by lightening REALLY worthy of the BBC 6pm news?
24.2 million dwellings in England. What is in the minds of the BBC news editors?

Undoubtedly the best President ever! Unlike that flipping incoherent retard racist peace of work the lefty morons voted in.

Just seen it on the news. I think it is newsworthy if it causes massive damage. It's quite rare and a useful reminder to people sleeping in their beds during an electrical storm that the next lightening strike can hit your house and heat your body to 20,000 degrees. :)

It also reminded me of what I was told when I was little. Lightening always strikes a house, and thunder is the sound of the house collapsing.
