I can't remember if I traded it or not. I think I may have because I saw the race, but can't remember what I did.

Your guess is as good as mine but I would suggest anyone who has traded these markets get records of their positions, bets etc now before the alter it.

I am currently being told the timeframe is unknown for re-settlement but it is being investigated by them and will be altered.

Looks like I didn't trade it and neither did any of my bots.

How are you checking?

Don't rely on your Profit and Loss as if they cancelled all your bets like they did to me the market won't show up there and that is what several people have seen and first alerted them to the issue.

You need to check for cancelled bets in your accounts as that is where any bets you placed on this market are showing if you are affected, not in the voided section or lapsed as they have just cancelled them as if they never got matched.

My bets were matched before the race started all on the favourite Sed Maarib and then cancelled as though never matched about 4 minutes after the race.
This is impossible, Betfair are refusing to look into it as they say nothing went wrong.

Something does seem to be strange. I have nothing at all in my PL for the Bev 13:00 all presumably cancelled, but I matched these bets (my log not theirs)...

I don't keep the horse name but I think in the following 39641074 is Seb Maarib and 40074628 is the withdrawn horse Golden Sands?

Better just to void the whole thing? Re-settlement will only cause more confusion.

I don't know about the other horse.

The issue seems more widespread, it seems people just aren't aware.

It is important not to look on your P&L for this race if you are potentially affected as the market won't show as all bets were just cancelled post race. You need to go to My account > Betting Activity tab > Exchange Betting History > Bet Status change to "Cancelled" and the time period changed as required.

I think the 1330 is also affected.

I thought it was just me with this.

I layed Lalipour and it shows on my Betting History with an ID and rightly shows it as a winning trade, yet it doesn't show up in my P/L. I have had this before and after an hour the P/L was changed to suit but this time it seems it's has taken most of the day and still not showing on my P/L.

I am more confused now. It seems Betfair may not actually have messed up this market (sort of).

When I go into my account statement page and look for all my bets on that market and the outcome on the market it shows as I expect it to. All bets that I know were matched were settled and commission taken for the market winnings.

But the market doesn't exist on the Profit and Loss for the day.

Oddly, though they have different Bet ID's to the exact same bets that show as being cancelled.

I don't have clue what has happened with this market now.

Happened to me a few times….

Re taking money after a market has been settled… then an hour later it is back how it was..

Cos it always went back, i never queried it.

My bets on these races were settled correctly. They do not show up the P/L but are in the transaction history. This is a known problem that occurs with some late withdrawals. For whatever reason the market does not show up in the P/L. Happens a couple of times a month, for about the last 6 months.

Not the first time this has happened, with races not being put in P+L sheet, but included in account statement. Makes totting up at the end of the day to check everything matches a nightmare, wondering what race i traded has been missed out somwehere, or if a result has been subsequently amended.

I think it is looking now like some sort of error with the P&L page as others have said, with it not showing up the market, I believe the 1330 is the same, though I didn't have any orders in that market. I think the market has actually been correctly settled and money paid out correctly and commissions charged.

What has gone on with these cancelled bets though I have no idea, it is like the same bet has been placed twice, one real (matched and settled) and one identical phantom bet that doesn't show anywhere. Then the phantom bets are cancelled after the race has finished having never been visible.

I wasn't aware of this happening before. I guess I just missed it before, thanks for letting us know it has been happening previously, much appreciated!

Yep 13:30 the same. Others seem to be saying that items missing from the PL is quite regular but I've never seen it without a reason? Oh well, no harm done. I tried looking at the cancellations but I've got 000s so I think I'll just brush this one under the carpet. Thanks for raising it though, our combined audit power certain keeps them honest.
