BUG: Quickbet malfunction - shows bets not placed BUT...

We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

Hi,

This only noticed when using "Quickbet" feauture. Not sure if its the same when using ladder etc.
This is what happens:
Sometimes when I place a bet it actually shows that its NOT placed (and matched obviously) and the bet section area (see the screenshot attached, marked red) is NOT even there BUT
when you go to betfair website the bet is actually sitting theere ready to be matched ! What the heck ?
Imagine backing a horse for £500 and thinking its not placed and then finding out after a race that as a matter of fact it was placed :shock:
only betangel didnt show that.
The screenshot i attached is not actually showing the moment when it happens. I attached it just to show which area it doesnt show.

PS: Sorry i dont have an actual screenshot to show the issue but I just remembered the bug just a moment ago.

That is perfectly normal behaviour and how the Quick Bet ticket is intended to work.

The unmatched bets area and will display only the unmatched bets placed via the quick bet ticket since you opened it.
Once its matched or if the bet is matched immediately matched nothing is expected to appear in that window

If you have a unmatched bet then close the QB ticket and open it again later, and still have an unmatched bet on a selection or one submitted via the ladder/one-click screen you won't see the full details of the unmatched bet/s, instead in the upper right side it will display just the number (if any) of unmatched bets you have on that selection

The bottom half is reserved for new unmatched bets placed via that QB ticket in your current session

But the thing is I didnt close the quickbet window and the bet section wasnt there like it is there in the screenshot with the bet sitting there...
I will take a screenshot next time. It usually happens when i have problem with the internet connection and its lagging.

Its an unmatched bet area, so if it was matched as you said it was in your OP it wouldn't be expected to be shown in your unmatched bets area.

Sorry if I wasnt clear. It was not matched. It was still unmatched when i went to betfair web page screen.

Was it showing in other unmatched bets areas in Bet Angel ie, below the ladder and once click screen?

If you see it again, grab a full screenshot of the market on the ladder or one-click screen with the unmatched bets area at the bottom visible and the QB ticket window open and pinned somewhere on your screen - but whatever selection you have chosen in your QB ticket make sure the QB window isn't covering any part of that selection on the main trading screen so everything between the two can be compared
