I think signing Grealish is a sign of desperation by Guardiola. He's good player but imo he's not worth £100m, maybe its because of the homegrown player quota.
Meanwhile our most exciting piece of transfer news is maybe selling Origi. Maybe.

I'm not too fussed to be honest, with this squad if everyone stays fit we should be in the running.

Keita has been on fire in pre season (as usual); Elliott has looked good; so has Tsimikas; even the Ox has looked decent going forward. Wouldn't say no to a forward but even the players we're being linked to aren't much to get excited about.

We might be just keeping our powder dry until next summer so we can afford Mbappe :D

I need to get myself a suspend monkey punchbag. Ranting about it's not good enough. :x

Maybe try spamming their Twitter every time they suspend for no reason, to show them how annoying that is.

Jarrod Bowen doesn't really stir my loins either but that's the FSG way!

Although I wouldn't get too excited about Keita, still fully expecting him to randomly keel over in the first half against Norwich :| The Ox however has been unplayable, looks ready to run circles around midfielders.

I'm quietly confident about this season, it's essentially the same starting 11 that walked about with the league a couple of seasons ago. You could even argue its stronger, we've lost Gini but have Thiago and Konate and I'm looking forward to seeing what impact Elliott can have. Should be a proper scrap between Us, City and Chelsea for the title and Utd hovering around that top 4 trying to keep Solskjaer in a job will make for an interesting distraction.

Everyone else is writing us off especially the BBC pundits (see below, 0 of 20 tipped us for the title) but I'm not worried :)

I would like to open a twitter account and give them some serious abuse, but they've got my IP address. I'm not willing to subscribe to a VPN just for the privilege of abusing them. :)

Looks a monster season ahead at the top end of the table. The fans are still optimistic, despite the lack of signings and Klopp saying we don't have money 5 minutes ago.

Would explain the little drift on Arse. Not that it needed explaining at that price range.

Everton  The Rafa Effect!

Not sure what Palace fans are smoking, I fancy them to be in a relegation scrap this season. Not sure what Vieira has done as a coach for fans to be optimistic

Benitez has just said Everton have 5 players self isolating due to Covid including James Rodriguez.
