Hi guys
I have had a quick look around but can't find an automation file for laying a specific trap for the greyhounds. I would want to be able to say lay trap 1 in first race then trap 4 in second race etc etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Darren

Thanks Dallas,
Is there an automated file already available, or would I need to tinker with a blank file?

Its just a case of using a 'Place lay bet' ruledarren1963 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 3:14 pmThanks Dallas,

applied to the trap number (Betfair row index) you want it to trigger on, so easiest just to build it from scratch

Just a watch out, if there is a vacant trap then this non-longer works. eg Trap 6 might become BF order 5 etc. You can avoid this problem by excluding races with less than 6 selections in the conditions tab.

Thanks for the help guys
I have tried this and am almost there but every race just lays trap1...even if on guardian I am selecting say trap 5. Clearly I have something set up wrong in the General section. I have the 'applies to section' listed as Betfair Index Row 1.....can you advise what I need to do to be able to pick different traps per race?
thanks.

I think what Dallas was saying is you may need to have 1 x file for each trap. Ie lay File 'X' when you want to Lay Trap 1, and File Y when you want to Lay Trap 2 etc.
Other way to do it is to lay 'Nominated Selection 1' and then make the selection in Guardian....
Question off the back of this, not sure if Dallas can help:
How can you automate to lay Trap 1 in Australia. As someone mentioned above if T1 is vacant (and no reserve) then Betfair Row Order 1 becomes T2 - is the only way to do this as mentioned above and select 1 in each guardian nomination 1?

Thanks Shaung, the option you gave about the 'nominated selection' seems to have done the trick.

the only way you could do it for austrailian races is no of selections = 8.
Although you may still get reserves.
