Same here. But if you look on betfair website at market rules, now it says " This is a Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge market"

Newcastle & Bathurst harness have the same market rule....
----------------------------
I found more info on Betfair Australia website. Now we have turnover charge on NSW harness...
https://www.betfair.com.au/hub/nsw-harn ... er-charge/
From 1 August 2021, the Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge will apply to customers who, in any week (Monday to Sunday GMT), meet each of the below criteria:
Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge Criteria (applicable from 1 August 2021)
Matched back bets placed in 1 or more Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge Markets
Matched back bets with an aggregate value of AUS $1,000 or greater on Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge Markets
Total Commission generated on Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge Markets is less than 1.00% of aggregate matched back bets
Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge Rate
The Turnover Charge will be 1.80% of the aggregate value of matched back bets on Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge Markets.
Thanks for the heads-up. It seems to apply to UK as well but I don't know why they call it "Harness Racing NSW" turnover charge market if it contributes to the same $6000 limit.
No problem Derek. If I didn't misunderstand the new rules, I think the AUS $1,000 for NSW harness it's separated from the AUS $6,000 limit for NSW thoroughbred markets. (?) Maybe someone can clarify this.
The UK T&C don't seem to mention anything about it but the market rules say "this is an NSW harness turnover charge market". Confusing but I don't trade them anyway.
I trade them from time to time. I think I found something. It was on the same Betfair Australia article:
Please note that the Harness Racing NSW Turnover Charge is incurred separately from the Racing NSW and NRL Turnover Charges.

hi bog, maybe an obvious question but will this be all NSW Harness racing? Or just races of a certain grade and above.
To keep life super simple I don't bet on any NSW tracks that run thoroughbred races (although I could have bet the harness races at those tracks, I don't), BUT I do bet at all the NSW tracks that only do harness racing. Looks like I need to make a change to exclude those too? So basically if it's NSW then swerve it. ....my margins are too small to mess about doing $1000 or $6000 in back bets.

There were a few strange things. As you show there in the table the G1 feature didn’t top the volume - in fact it didn't get close.
I had an ok day but set a more aggressive automation on the feature and fluffed it. Still, lots of G1s to come.
This may be a handy link for those who haven't come across it - (doesn't cover harness but I've dropped all harness from my roster)

Helps me at the start of the day, lest anyone blows through turnover tax.
