Hi
In Aus racing how do i create a filter that excludes Trot and Pace and conversely create a filter with them?

Its working fine for me

Also one of the filters included in the software named 'Ex; Horse Racing - Aus Win Only (2 days)' uses the same text filter to remove harness racing and that too has also always worked

If you edit and remove that text then you get all the harness races included in the search

Hi Dallas. That didnt work either. It still shows Pace and trot place markets...
I am trying to create a filter that allows
  • Trot/pace/gallops win
  • gallops place
I copied code as mentioned above and couldnt get to work.
See exported file attached.

OK, that explains it, you never said it was the place markets you were looking for.
Betfair list the place markets for all types of Aus races as 'To Be Placed' so there's no way to filter those belonging to harness racing
Only the regular win markets can only be filtered for harness racing as they contain the words pace and trot in their titles

Might this help as a workaround. Choose the Place markets you are interested in and the corresponding Win Markets. In the Win market add a Shared SV = 1 where it matches (or does not match) your filter. In the Place markets set up your trigger as required but with the added Condition of checking the value of the SV from the Win market. I think that should do it but be aware of double negatives in your logic! :)

Sorry farm, not sure what you mean. Can you elaborate on sr1 and how that is done?

Have a look in the forum for uses of using a Shared SV. It allows you to pass the SV value from market to market within the same Event. So my thinking is use the Win market race description to ID if a race is Pace or Trot (Aus) or Harness (USA) and flag the Shared SV appropriately. Then within the Place markets use the Shared SV to ID if the race is a target or not and place a bet if appropriate.

So like this ... add all Win Markets into Guardian and add a rule that ID's the NOT Pace/Trot/Harness races and creates a Shared Event SV (say "NotPaceTrotHartness") and set it to equal "1".

Now add all Place markets into Guardian and create your bet rule with the added Condition of SV "NotPaceTrotHarness = 1". Now bets will be placed in accordance with your betting rule but not those races where the Win market declares them to be Pace, Trot or Harness races.
