Just wanted to sign off and to say thanks to all that have tried to assist me over the last few years. I’m calling it a day and have concluded trading / betting isn’t for me. Good luck with your future endeavours!

All the best zippus.
It's a big world out there, you've done gambling on horses, now go do everything else. :)

What else is there to do? ;)

Good luck zippus, although the ordinary (ignorant) man on the street may disagree, the knowledge and skills you've gathered from trading/gambling is an immensely useful experience.

take care zippus and take the experiences with you to your next ventures.

fwiw - i've scaled back on my betfair activities as i've discovered recently that the binance api provides me with better opportunities that scale out by a factor of nn. without all the help i've received here and the failed attempts to understand many markets that have particula nuances, i'd never have been able to take on the binance api in the way that i have. so, in a nutshell, no such thing as failure, just wisdom gained and lessons learned.

[edit] - i continue to haunt this forum because of the decent people and the fact that application in one discipline can transfer to another, so i'm always looking for little nuggets that can be extrapolated out from Betfair shenanigans and reimagined elsewhere. and likewise, try to feed back the other way.

Are you based in the UK? If so how, if at all, have you found the recent UK operation ban has effected your ability to trade profitably? Do you use a pre-build API or have you created your own? I havent signed up yet. Feel free to PM me a referral code if you are interested in a little help to get me started?

All the best, Zippus.

It takes guts and discipline to take stock of something in life, accept things aren't working......and then walk away before it drags you down
