I'm more concerned if it ends before I am able to green up. What will happen then? Will Betfair void the market or settle as normal or will they take into account that the world has ended?Photon wrote:Let's hope the world doesn't end before the last race of the day

Although I had a profitable result on that race, I had a surreal moment. I had laid £400 at 4.7 and was backing back 1 tick higher. The price wasn't really moving so I was not in any great danger. The money started to trade off so I knew I was at the front of the queue. However the money went so slowly it was weird....I had 28.22 left and it sat there for ages without being touched despite the price not moving away from my orderSpikeyBob wrote:254k matched on the first race on a Saturday at post time ... Surely we are all doomed!!!
The doomsday stuff is not as silly as it sounds. The 21st century is, I believe, going to be an extremely dangerous century... due to the development of advanced, highly dangerous new technologies, there is a 50-50 chance of the end of the world this century (according to top scientist Martin Rees). Not today though.. probably 40 or 50 years away yet before some kind of major 'event'

Raffaele Bendandi has never mentioned an earthquake in Rome in his writing but, a fatal coincidence gave the earthquake to the believers and stroke Murcia ( spain ) that same day. the 11-05-2011....Let`s hope those believers get drunk and stop thinking of catastrophes....

The evangelical broadcaster who left followers crestfallen by his failed prediction that last Saturday would be Judgement Day says he miscalculated.
I'm sure the people who sold all their worldly possessions on the basis of his predictions understand that mistakes happen...

I've dropped a message to dear old Harold asking if he can help with the forthcoming Lottery numbers. It should be a mere trifle for him
Mind you, I am not holding my breath waiting for the reply!
