Hi.

I think Bet Angel is really good product. However if it was possible to put Bet Angel into simulation mode or practice mode it would something close to a fantastic product. I use BetBot Pro too and it allows you to use a simulation mode in order for you to check out betting systems. This way you can do something silly without it eating your bankroll.

It would be great if you could practice trading with Bet Angel in simulation mode. Users who are good at trading in in one type markets could practice before moving into new markets without investing real money.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

We have often looked at simulation modes but they don't generally deliver an experiance that is close to real trading so we have held off doing a project to introduce one. The main problem is that you can not simulate the fill rate of orders and as a lot of traders offer money to the market that's an important consideration. Still on the possible list though but we are cautious for the stated reasons.

Was 100% against this but have to say that have used this on a different API and is very good for knocking around ideas for very small stakes only.

Please can you incorpate in next build?

I've never tried a simulation mode but I may just give it a try one day. That may seem strange when you consider I do not believe it is the same as the real thing. I say the latter because I have spoken to many people who have used a simulation mode and they say it is almost impossible to get it wrong. When they switch back to real money it is a different matter.

There is no substitute for using real money, the market can see your every move when you do it for real.

I can beat federer on my PS2 but I wouldn't stand a chance on court.

We have always disliked the idea of a 'training' or 'simulation' mode as neither does what is says on the tin. However a practice mode where you can play on the product without real money is probably the route to head down as long as people are aware that the results will not be real. This would give people the chance to get used to the software before putting money into the market.

Every single day, I encounter something new or different

You cannot replicate real markets into a simulation mode, only people who know nothing about trading thinks this is a good idea

You'll learn far more playing with real £2 stakes, than wasting your time on a training mode that doesn't represent live markets.

As I've said before, nobody learns to swim without getting in the water first

I would agree with all the comments, the angle I was coming from was that as my respond times are a lot slower with BA .

So I have to go down the VPS Premium rate and bot route.
If you write a bot wrong then its bye bye bank.

Or change API software.

I do know how to use this software Thanks.
