Offset Bets

Hi, this may be a stupid question, but I have automated a Lay with an Offset, to be placed 1 minute after a football match is in play. Both are being placed, but if the Offset is not matched within an amount of time (not sure of how long as it appears random), the unmatched offset bet disappears. Am I missing something or is this a Betfair thing?

Or maybe the market was briefly suspended which would cancel all your unmatched bets.

So, if the market gets suspended all unmatched bets get cancelled? Even if I’ve told them to be “kept” in-play?

'Keep' usually means that unmatched bets will be kept when a market goes from pre-play to in-play, but I've had a check of the Betfair Ts&Cs I've seen this ....so it seems my comment was wrong.

For the avoidance of doubt this means that (for example) when a Material Event occurs in a soccer match and other unmatched bets are cancelled before the market is reopened, a keep bet will not be cancelled.
