Back Win Market Favourite in Place Market

Hi,

I'm a newbie and have looked all through the posts here and through the user guide and can't work something out.

I am Backing the Favourite in the Place Market but that is not always the same as the Favourite in the Win Market, how do I 'store' the favourite in the win market so I can bet on it in the Place Market.

I'm sure there is a simple way of doing it but I can't work it out.

Using V1.57 you can now store values as text, so you could store the name of selection thats fav in the win market and store the name of the selection that's fav in the place market

Then use a stored value condition on your back/lay rule to test those are equal to each other

I've got an example on doing this ready to post but wasn't planning on doing it until after the MC


Or there is another way which I've described during a conversation related to this example, if you have a look at the image mid way down the page the post at the top probably makes more sense

thanks for the reply.

What you are suggesting doesn't quite do what I want, I want to Back the Win market favourite in the Pace market irrespective of whether it is favourite in the PLace market. Whatever the Fav in the win market is I want to back it in the Place market, with certain conditions attached obviously, like number of selections and race distance and an odds range

ahh I see what you mean now, that's still possible using V1.57 with a similar method outlined above except your place bet rule would need to be applied to ANY selection with a condition to test the selections name

I don't have any links you could follow on setting it up just yet but let me know if you still get stuck
