Betdaq no longer taking bets on US racing?

Hi

I have noticed for the past few weeks that I can no longer place a bet with Betdaq exchange on US racing. When I navigate to the racing markets page I can see the various US race meetings listed but if I click on any race I get a message 'there are no live markets available'.

Has anyone else noticed this? It doesn't make any sense for them to list a schedule of the US race meeetings, even individual races per meeting but not provide any markets?

Any thoughts or input much appreciated.

A quick update I just logged into Betdaq and tried to click on a US race the message actually says 'there are no active markets'.

I'm not sure I have ever looked at US racing on there, but in two weeks time you will definitely have confirmation as its the Breeders cup.

Thanks for the input, yes that should be interesting. These changes I've observed seem to have started around 4 weeks ago. What's puzzling is that they still list US racing daily but there are never any 'active markets'?

TBH I haven't tried to contact them. I tend to be reluctant to contact the exchange customer services unless it's a really serious technical issue. This is because I've noticed with Betfair a decline in technical knowlege among customer service staff over the last few years.

To be fair to Betdaq I have found that they are ok to talk to. I think they have a much smaller team.

I usually use the mobile app as I tend to bet/trade on the move. Overall it's a very poor experience. The app is slow, laggy and too many clicks to navigate to where you want to go. Also Betdaq are much slower at settling bets. It seems to take around 10+ minutes for UK racing, around 10 - 15 minutes for dogs and around 20 - 30 minutes for foreign racing.

I've spoken to them before about the app and they seemed surprised at what I was telling them. There are many negative reviews on the web/google playstore but they seem blissfully unaware of them. I think I've spoken to them a couple of times about the app in the last 3/4 years but it's as bad as ever and they don't seem to be doing anything to improve it.

Sorry I've digressed a bit, I've tried to google about the apparent inability to bet on US racing but not found anything. It's something I only do occasionally so I'm not too desperate for it to be resolved but will probably contact them at some stage.
