I'm just after a basic clarification, i've overthought myself into confusion
If I back/lay a horse (B$100 at 1.24/L$100 at 1.2) for a $4 profit if it wins, am I paying 5% on $4 or on $124?
(NB: The website help says 'net winnings in a market')
Cheers

On the $4 profit. If you were to do the reverse so you lost $4 you would obviously pay no commission.
Each market is treated seperately. So you can win £10 on 10 races so £100 over the day and would have paid £5 in commission. But on 10 other races lost £10. You would end up £5 worse off on the day than when you started despite making nothing on the day.
Hope that helps.
