Making Sure Bets dont cancel

Hi

So currently, when betting on football, if i place an unmatched bet, and a goal is scored (an event, my bet is cancelled). This is the same if I place a bet pre match, that doesnt get matched. On the start whistle my bet gets cancelled.

How do i prevent this happening, I want my bets to stay unmatched and if they get matched they do and if they dont, they dont, how do I do this?

Add a 'Keep all Unmatched bets' rule to your automation file

Or if manually trading click the 'Keep All' button at the bottom of your screen

Im posting a bet with a two tick offset. So the back hasnt been match but IF/WHEN that does its going to place a lay. Will that lay then follow those rules even though it hasnt been placed as yet, as it waits until the back is placed?

No, its classed as a separate bet when it reaches the market so you'll need to repeat the above once the lay has gone in.

You can use a 'Keep all Unmatched bets' rule in your automation file

I realise it's a long manual but to get the most out of BA and everything it has to offer it's well worth stopping trading for a few hours or day and taking the time to go through it.

The automation file just needs to be very simple

A rule to keep your unmatched bets

and a condition so it only triggers if there are unmatched bets in the market

If you are keeping the market on screen you can use the file as a safety servant, that will active as soon as you open a market (any market)

Or if you are trading multiple markets you'd add them to Guardian and apply the automation file to them all
