Anyone know why Rosehill and Randwick are always late off? All other tracks do a great job but every meeting they have every race late off pretty much.

Never. But I've come pretty close when I got carried away banging out trades.

I hadn't noticed before but it was a good few minutes late tonight.

Jockey Club & Racecourse Holdings Trust (the owners of Newmarket) purchased the two tracks last month.

Would it be as simple as it equals more revenue?

My guess is that they use the same raceday officials.

It has been that way for as long as I can remember. Almost always late getting to the start, usually well past post time. Most other tracks the commentator starts to slag them off for being more than a minute late loading but there it is rarely commented on.

Now you have noticed it, you will notice it every race.

Possibly, but I don't think so. I think the main reason is just poor timekeeping but I might be wrong.

Just to add some balance, I am off to my worse start to an Australian session in as long as I can remember :(

When my alarm went off I bolted up right thinking it was morning and I had missed it all, starting to wish I had

My experience of this day is I usually get off to a slow start.
