My belt's snapped. Put on a new belt and it's too big! I'll have to go into a shop to buy a new one with my pants around my ankles. :lol:

I turned up 25 minutes early for my flu jab and they were only too wiling to push me through. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
As it turned out, that happened to me too...

Your time slot is just a nominal time in a half-hearted attempt to spread jabs out. I was told I can turn up at 8 and they'd see me anyway. It was like the SAS evacuating hostages. A receptionist flung me into the room, doctor gave me a jab and a nurse flung me out. I went down the chain until I was flung out of the exit!

That is not a flipping mountain or hill! It's a bunch of trees that may happen to be on a hill, or some could be taller than others!

Glad you're getting one.
But I think access to GP services is terrible at the moment. And has been for me for years.
Reluctantly, I have to admit covid has severely impacted other medical services.
Not sure it coud have been done any better though.
Hopefully, we're nearly there now. Vaccines, effective treatments, anti-viral pills etc.
Still 9000+ in hospital though, and a mysterious excess number of deaths above the 5 year average not due to the covid defiintion.

No matter how little you withdraw to your Neteller account you get a "GOOD NEWS!" email from Neteller as though you've won the lottery. :lol:

Yep, the full condescending connotation is "Good news, you've finally won something from that gambling website!" but they've shortened it :)

The other annoying email is "Successful Payment with your Net+ Prepaid Mastercard®". What do they think I was expecting? Does everybody else's payments fail?
