Hi all, I'm new to automation but reasonably familiar with Bet Angel for manual trading.
I am learning automation and would like to make a bot in Guardian to do the following:
Dutch a number of selections before a horse race starts (already figured that part).
Then place a lay bet on the shortest priced favourite about 30 to 50 seconds into a race for the total or part % liability of the three original bets.
This would (Hopefully) give free bets on the original 3 selections and a zero loss on all other horses.
Hope that makes sense.
Any help/feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Making automation file to create free bets.

hi,
maybe I am missing something, ......how will you have a "zero loss on all other horses"? what about your liability on the fav that you layed inplay?

If the fave with the lay liability wins then its a loss. I found this other thread and think it may be applicable:eatyourgreens wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 10:01 pmhi,

Lesson #1 : There's no such thing as a 'free' bet.
All you're doing is betting with profit you've already accrued on that market. If you bet with profit 10 mins later its just called a bet but for some reason when that timeframe shortens to be within the same market people think it's money you can burn. And tbh unless you use your 'free' money to make a value bet then you're better of just pocketting it.
