My 1st Big Bash game followed this year and 46 million matched, the standard was very ordinary Big Bash has lost its lustre.

Superficially Otago should have no problem knocking off 223 v Canterbury in the New Zealand Ford Trophy (588K matched at innings break)

Hamish Rutherford goes too hard most of the time, no need for that today chasing 223

I never watched any of Canterbury's 222 all out but I did notice and was struck by 9 of 10 dismissals were caught. If I had seen lbw's galore I would not have lumped on Otago like I did. Otago's reasonably circumspect start meant they drifted out to 1.35

Well that was wrong!

After I left the game something extraordinary has clearly happened, USA are not just winning they are winning big and gubbing a 1.01 on Ireland.
