Hi,

Please can someone help and let me know if there is a way to spread profit made from a trade across other selections.

i.e. If I place a lay trade on horse1 for 20 pounds at 4 and back at 4.8 giving me a green position, is there anyway of using that profit or part profit made on horse1 and placing as a back trade on horse 2. using automation

thanks

mark

Not sure if it's possible to store profit as a value then use that as a liability to lay the runner where you have a green.

Hedged ?
P &L for selections can be used as stored value to calculate potential losses or wins . its perfectly possible to use the stored value as a stake within the same race .

Ok.

So assume within automation I lay selection A for £20, then back it back at a higher price for £20 - I now have a green of 'x' on Selection A and no win/loss on selections 'b-z'.

You're saying I should store the PnL of selection A in a stored value and then when conditions are met I can then call this stored value to become my lay stake/liability.

Sounds straight forward - will have a go

Yes .
-Stake by a stored value parameter -

If not fully hedged , the profit can still run to the end of the race and turn into a risk free bet .
You will therefore need to continually store the p & L OR. Store it only once and use the amount captured at that particular moment and time .
