I have a couple of automation strategies that I'm currently testing in practice mode before I set them running on the live markets.
I've been using excel and power query to collate the BA matched bets reports and see what bets have been placed, however I'm having an issue determining which closing bets apply to which strategy. Both strategies that I'm running are putting back bets into the market (with different stakes) and both use a trailing stop. Occasionally they both back the same runner and without looking through the log I can't easily determine which lay bet applies to either strategy.
Does anyone have any pointers or know of a different way of logging the bets?
Identifying which bets belong to each strategy

I run 2 versions of BetAngel at the same time. I have one in practice mode to record odds and test strategies the other in live mode to trade. So maybe you could test each strategy on a separate version. Not sure if this will help you but I find it useful

Yeah I thought about doing that but I'd have to run it on a different computer as there can be conflicts with the market reports folder with running multiple instances on the same system. Plus i'll have the same issue segregating the bets when I begin running both strategies on a live account.
Its possible to run more than once instance from the same PC and have separate reports if you duplicate the installation folders and rename them.plasteredric wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 6:58 pmYeah I thought about doing that but I'd have to run it on a different computer as there can be conflicts with the market reports folder with running multiple instances on the same system.
