The question is whether these points can generate any long term profit

Also, there are some that always find trouble and never seem to realise not to run up the arse of the ones in front.
I watch a lot of dogs in the evening, and it's quite amusing sometimes watching the dogs get in trouble, it's like pin-ball the first part of the first corner, you know the "Newton's Cradle" effect on the outside dog!! ping-ping-PONG!

Some tracks are poorly designed at the first bend. Sometimes worth specialising and focussing on the fast starting greyhounds that are better drawn with slower starters on the inside of them. The racing manager/grader should be setting up a fair race for all runners, but seem to get it wrong more often than not.goat68 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 8:27 amgreat comment!wearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 2:08 pm

So my live greyhound strategy is still doing reasonable, and i'm fairly confident it's found an "edge".
I've been hunting for more setups, but there's only so many parameters really, performance, speed, traps, tracks, dog/bitch, young/old, .., and i've found some of those seem to be in-effectual. And i've learned trying to throw in technical advantages (ie.sma's, vwap's,..) just doesn't add anything long term.
I need to find some extra/new info................?

I have been backing and laying multiple outcomes in this market for about three years now, with some success. Allowing me to manage the risks associated with this sport. It works for me ...

It's interesting, I've created a greyhound model, and then applied it to find value in certain setups based on standard metrics (rating, sectionals, trap, previous performance,...) and as a betting strategy over a decent duration (3+months say) it pretty much breaks even... every time!

Didn't want to create a new thread so...I don't often look at the Betfair website but I've noticed this near the bottom of each market ... ...
It keeps changing, looks like a time but doesn't have any pattern....just wondered if anyone else had seen it or knew what it was...it looks like debug to me.You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
