Yeah some shocking decisions but what I'm really loving about the officials at this years AFCON is how they take no crap from players.

In the game today when one of the Ivory Coast players got in the refs face the ref just got in his face too and didn't take a backward step, would love to see some of that in the Premier League. Most of the Premier League refs look terrified in that situation and just keep walking backwards.
Just not quite the same when it's Jonathan Moss fronting up a player, to be fair I'd love it for someone to stick one on him.

First penalty shootout of the games

10 of 19 penalties have been missed so far in AFCON, shootout should be fun!

I hope covid's not going to ruin the games.

Comoros have a lot of cases but its split between players and coaching staff.

At least AFCON is testing. Not a single player at the Australian Open has had to drop out of the draw on the mens or womens side which makes sense as it doesn't seem there's any testing going on at all!

Comoros have Covid cases for both goalkeepers tonight. The other one is injured. So a regular player will be a goalkeeper tonight. Cameroon odds already dropped to 1.08.

One of the backup keepers has since returned a negative Covid test so he'll be available according to Comoros officials.

The overs markets would have been very interesting if an outfield player had to start in goal.

Algerian journalist at AFCON has just told me on Twitter that he's hearing he isn't playing.

Think I'll set a few positions on the over 4.5, 5.5 & 6,5 markets.

Well done Gambia but its a shame Guinea had to do with out their best player due to yellow cards.

Surely these yellow card bans should be done away with. I don't see the point to them at all.

More perplexed by the 3min additional time. 1 goal, a sending off in which the player took about half an hour to leave the field coupled with a VAR review of a disallowed goal?

Cameroon making hard work of this.

18 minutes gone against ten man and a left back in goal and they still haven't had a shot on target
