Market refresh rates via Automation

Hi guys. Is there such a rule as controlling Market Refresh rates via an automation rule?

Im looking at markets several hours ahead and only want, at the moment, data captured several times per hour. This is fine when there are no markets active i.e. close to off or in-play. The difficulty comes when I want to have Market Refresh set at 20ms but I DONT want it cycling through every single market (some still several hours away before any real activity kicks in) but I still want it to pop in and out a couple of times per hour to retrieve data, and maybe in the future place bets.

I cant seem to find an automation rule that I can add that simply allows the current market, that the rule is activated on, to be refreshed once every 15 mins, capture data, export and then do nothing for the next 15 mins. In the meantime, my 20ms refresh rate is updating the active markets (10 mins pre off, inplay etc.).

The only workaround I can see is using the Switch Market rule but this looks to be a lengthy solution and not very dynamic.

Am I missing something or are there other workarounds?

I am no expert at automation, and I am not sure if this will work, but try running a couple (or more) instances of BA, use one for data capture with the refresh rate you need, and use another for trading with the refresh rate you need.
