How to detect play resumed after halftime?

Hi,

thinking about finding a way of detecting when play is resumed after halftime.
I have noticed that betting delay is lower in the break. Is this true for all football markets, and if so, can you use the Guardian stored value option: "the market's Betting Delay" to detect the restart?

If not, any other good way of detecting play has resumed? Guess I could look at the rate odds change, but that's not very robust.

I haven't noticed a reduced betting delay during halftime myself. You could try something along the lines of, IP time > 62 minutes AND LTP 4 ticks less than 5 minutes ago.

Checking out a few matches right now, and none of them have reduced halftime delay. Pretty sure I noticed reduced halftime delay when betting manually before, but that was on bigger games, like Premier League. Anyway, it's not the case in general, and I need to go down the road you suggest. Would like to pinpoint the exact start time of 2nd half though but that sounds difficult.

Glad to see it was not just a dream.
Hafltime delay is/was reduced to 1 second but only for Premier League

I'd say it's near impossible on prices alone, as prices can move significantly during halftime and can sometimes be slow to move when the match kicks off again.
