Just managed to blitz the next two races so hopefully I'm settled in for the day.

I had a nightmare on the first at Ascot, just wasnt ready mentally and made a right hash of it. Thankfully managed to get it back and more on the 2nd.
Has felt better this year than I remember it previously.

Yesterday I only traded the Ascot races until I dipped into one of the others about half four - big mistake! I overstaked wildly, went in play and lost everything I'd made at Ascot up until that point. Fortunately I had a barnstormer in the last 2 and finished up 400. I guess it just goes to show you've got to hang on in there, take the blows and keep going as you never know when the good ones are going to come

Worcester is completely mental today. I'd advise extreme caution there today.

BTW, anybody using Betdaq? The fill rate on Betdaq is higher than Betfair! OK the volume isn't as much but I seem to be able to consistantly get a good result on Betdaq now which has never been the case in previous years.

Worc 3.25, fav traded 1.01 in running and 1.2 in the photo but lost. Some seriously burnt fingers there, possibly encouraged by the way-off comments of Matt Chapman on ATR!

Having a good day so far, managed to lay the 1.02 shot at Worcester then caught the drift on Lion Court at Hamilton.

Last Hamilton was really tricky, got caught too.

I've not made much so far today, I've had one decent win from Ascot and up and down on everything else.

Found today rubbish but I blame myself rather than the markets. Had a very busy morning and feel knackered so concentration is dire. Hopefully can pick a little up along the way.

Now I've got used to the day I've managed to do quite well. Bit of a mare of a start but the going is good at the moment. The last two Ascot races will determine how I class the day as a whole.

Ditto!

After a slow start I ripped through the remainder of the card for a record day at Ascot. I'm really pleased with that performance. Wasn't easy but I think I did a good job today.

Somebody got into real trouble on the winner on the last race.

Did well at Ascot but made a net loss on all the other courses. I shouldn't have bothered.

Managed to turn my day around as well but most of my wins came away from Ascot oddly.

Hopefully get a bit more tonight to make the day decent enough.
