Betfair SP database -Useful or Useless?

Before I start on the data for May 2021, yesterday I posted about the trap 1 profit and for a giggle set Betangel to just lay the favourite if it was going to start from Trap 1. Due to timings I started at the Hove meeting at 13:09 and sods law decreed that Crouchs Diva romped home coming from the back to win by a length
There were 18 more bets yesterday 2 of which layed trap 2 because trap 1 was vacant
3 more favs won from trap 1 but the remainder lost in style
This left a profit on the test of Just over 16 quid

May 2021 was the worst month yet
Total loss so far laying the fav in all races is over £500 at minimum £2.00 stakes.
Even laying the fav in just trap 1 produced a £99 loss
I have however stuck an extra column on the end of the Summary sheet that will give a P/L figure dependant on the track AND trap number
For instance if you just layed the fav at Harlow out of trap 3 then you would be up £130

I have stuck the updated file in the usual place - perhaps not where some of you think it should be placed

Actually that isn't quite true
having just gone back and had a quick check Laying the fav out of trap 3 just at Harlow has produced a profit each month so far in 2021 (up-to May)
Sod's Law dictates that when I do June figures this will change
