I'm having trouble finding a quad monitor graphics card for Windows 10. I just bought an Asus GT730 but while it's fine on Windows 7 it crashes Windows 10 even with the very latest drivers from Nvidia.

What card does Peter use?

Can you recommend a suitable card? When you search for them, everyone just wants to sell gaming graphics cards.

How many monitors are using? That card won't support 4 screens unless you're daisy chaining and even then it might struggle so that could be a reason for the crashes.

I upgraded my PC & monitor a few months ago and had the same sort of conundrum re the graphics card. In the end I didn't bother with a multi monitor set up and instead went for a Dell U4320Q. It's a bit pricier than buying four 21.inch monitors but well worth it imo and I wouldn't go back.

Is there a reason why you haven't upgraded to Windows 11? Doesn't make much sense to me to shell out on new hardware for Windows 10.

The Asus GT730 IS a quad monitor card. It runs quad monitors perfectly under Windows 7. I've already got the 4 monitors. I'm not changing to Windows 11 until it has bedded in and had its first service pack. I would simply switch back to Windows 7 if Bet Angel would run on it.. Better yet, Linux and get away from Microsoft altogether.

So, if anyone can recommend a Quad monitor card that still works under Windows 10 I would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Ok I'm just going by the tech specs by ASUS themselves but maybe its a different brand you have. I'm running a RTX 2060 Super which is supposed to have 2 DP ports but the brand I got sent only has one which would really piss me off if I was running a multi monitor set-up.

This article might be of some use, its about trading specific graphics cards which I found when I was researching a quad screen set up. It's from 2018 but there's an updated link at the top of the page.

EDIT: Might help if I added the link

I have a 2070 super on Windows 10 which has 3x DP and 1x HDMI outputs. It was released in 2019 so built for Windows 10. I only use 1x DP for one huge 5120x1440 monitor but according to this all outputs can be used concurrently https://multimonitorcomputer.com/top-4- ... puters.php

Turns out the GT730 is fine in Windows 10. The puny 200w power supply in my Dell Optiflex 3070 is the problem. Apparently it can't handle the graphics load from four monitors and gets its head stuck up its arse. Now I know the cause I can sort it.
